Same Clips I had in my 1981 BMW
Ordered these floormat clips that are identical those I had 30 years ago. They work. And if you have/purchase floormats that lack a "hole & floor hook" there is no way to keep them from sliding. These clips are strong and the alligators clips have a vice like grip on the floormat.You need two... -

Can the floor mat anchors be removed. I found things difficult .Is vacuum the only option
it is a snap and released easy . I have an accent and can do this with realitve east.
try it first and then look at the service book that was issued with the car.

Where can I get extra floor anchors for my Catch-All floor mats?
I couldn't find anything. The only thing that I can maybe suggest to you, is to call a company who sells Catch-All mats. Let them know that you are only looking to buy the locking devices (the anchors). They should be able to help you, or so I would think. Try http://www.autoanything.com/

Taryn lived and worked in Washington, D.C., but, a couple years ago she was hired as the International Education Director for Delaware Technical & Community College. It has four campuses in Delaware. Though her office is in Dover, her weekly schedule takes her to Wilmington, Georgetown and Stanton, as well as Dover.
She enjoys the reverse commute in both directions, a little more than an hour each way. "I said I'd move halfway when I got the job," she said with a smile. "But, I fell in love with Annapolis and Eastport."
While renting in the area and looking for a home, she joined the Annapolis Athletic Club in Eastport. "I was always driving through Eastport to get to the gym," she said. "The area reminds me a lot of my seaside home in New Jersey."
Finally, the perfect home for Taryn came on the market: a 1 ½ -story bungalow with two small ground floor bedrooms, 1 ½ baths and a useable, upstairs loft that runs the length of the house. 1,050 square feet of space.

From the looks of the diagram below, the anchor consists of a single screw, two floormat anchors in a single unit, and a square plastic rawlplug type thing that goes into a single hole in the steel under the driver's seat (so a bit different from the left hand drive version). I posted on a UK forum I found, and there's a fellow who thinks he has a spare one so fingers crossed
