I've had two surgeries on each knee and a low-back fracture, so am frequently in pain, and especially when standing. I love to cook "from scratch" which requires considerable time standing on a hard kitchen floor. After reading product descriptions and revues on a variety of floor mats, I purchased a 3>2 ft Anti-Fatique Wellness Kitchen Mat. The result was a noticible decrease in knee and back pain, so much so that I subsequently purchased a 6x2 ft Wellness mat to extend anti-fatique coverage from the kitchen sink to beyond my stove and refrigerator. The mats are expensive but, for me, money well spent for the relief of pain provided. Bought the wellness mat in April 2011, works great when standing for long periods of time when doing dishes after company has left. No more sore feet or back. The mat is now stained and dirty so I bought Barkeepers Friend cleaner as recommended by their customer service....
