Durable Material
I am a larger fellow and this mat has lasted very well. No cracking or visible degradation of the mat from my office chair with heavy use over the last couple months. Protecting my carpet which I am very thankful for. 5 star review from me.
For example, car mats have this trim at the end that go all around wich is sewed on.

I'm trying to pick out floor mats for my MINI Cooper. I had carpet floor mats in my Honda that worked just fine, but I'm not sure if the Cooper mats will hold up similarly. The rubber mats are supposedly "all weather" ready.

i would say rubber. it is non slip and really is 'all-weather' ! You can get rain, snow and dirt on it and they are easy clean just a wipe with a floor cloth is easy, and does not get mud stains like a carpet would.
