Charges waived
Julia Katherine Morgan, 30, of Troy, has waived charges of DUI to the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas following a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox of Troy, according to Wilcox's office.
According to court papers, Morgan was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substance, a lane violation, careless driving, and not wearing a seat belt following a traffic stop around 12:44 a.m. July 15 on Route 6 near the East Troy Bridge in Troy Township.
Texas man waives charges
Samuel Askins, 34, of Willis, Texas, has waived DUI and other charges to the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas following a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox of Troy, according to Wilcox's office.
An affidavit notes that a check of Askins' prior criminal history shows three prior arrests for driving under the influence from Texas.
