Three killed in single-vehicle accidents
Dead are Mark Morgan, 52; John Daniel Hathcoat, 18; and a person whose name has not been released pending notification of relatives.
Morgan was killed Tuesday when his pickup ran off Interstate 44 in Tulsa and overturned in a ditch, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
He was pinned in the wreckage until he was extricated by firefighters about 8:30 a.m., the OHP reported.
What time the crash occurred was not known.
Morgan was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers said his eastbound 1997 Chevrolet S-14 pickup ran off the right side of I-44 just past Memorial Drive.
It crossed the Memorial entrance ramp to the highway and crossed Skelly Drive before crashing into a ditch and coming to rest upside down, the OHP reported.
Morgan was wearing a seat belt, troopers said.
