Easy to use, and seems to work well
Nice little unit, and very straightforward to use. My only gripe is there is no power off option. Seemed to be pretty accurate in my tests on a lawnmower engine. Not sure where it is made; couldn't find a label on the unit. Overall, well worth the money so far.

I know that the harness plugs into the throttle remote but ive also been told you need to connect it to the electrics on the engine itself can anyone tell me where it needs to be connected to on the engine please.

There should be a 3 wire receptacle on your remote control, it may be covered with a plastic cap. If you don't have a compatible plug, the white is +, the black is -, and the brown is the sender. If you have a tiller motor, the receptacle will be under the cowl. Here is a

And so i want to hook it up to the original tachometer that is already in my car, it used to have a 4 cylinder motor. Originally i was just going to wire up the green signal wire from the speed sensor to the signal wire of the tachometer and the other 2 red and black to power, but after reading the motor notes its never that simple after all. Any ideas if this is possible using what i have? if so how to do it ?
